We chose our name with deep intention. In Italian, allegra means “joyful and lively.” It's a reminder of what this work is actually supposed to feel like.
Building wealth shouldn't be a source of dread. Done right, it's something to look forward to, and we take that seriously.

Retirement, security, freedom, leaving something behind: whatever it means for you, that's what we're actually working toward. The portfolios, the plans, and the strategies are in service of that, not the other way around.

We start by listening. Not just to what you think you need, but to what's actually going on in your life. From there, we build a plan that's specific to you, with a focus on smart asset allocation, diversified portfolios, and a tax-conscious approach to investing that doesn't leave money on the table unnecessarily.

We believe strong fundamentals never go out of style. A properly diversified portfolio, built around your real risk tolerance and long-term goals, is the foundation on which everything else is built. We don't chase trends or overcomplicate things. We stay the course, review regularly, and adjust when life calls for it.

We're also not going to pretend to be everything to everyone. There are areas where we'll bring in the right professionals, whether that's a tax advisor, an attorney, or a specialist in another area. What we will be is your first call, so that whatever comes up financially, you have somewhere to start.

Financial advising wasn't the plan. Being good at business was, and that part came naturally. Years in the advertising world, working closely with business owners and helping them grow what they'd built, kept bringing me back to the same hard truth I was living by myself: working hard is never going to be enough on its own. Time runs out. Two hands can only do so much. Money has to make money.

I was in my early thirties, a young divorced mother who had put herself through college while raising a daughter, when a financial advisor I worked with recognized something in me and asked me to join his firm. He saw the business instincts. What he didn't fully anticipate was how genuinely obsessed I would become with the work itself. It was serendipity, and I was a natural fit.

Since 2013, starting at Edward Jones and eventually building my own practice, this work has only gotten more interesting. Allegra Wealth Management is the culmination of that. The name is intentional. In Italian, allegra means joyful, and that isn't a marketing choice. It's a reminder of what this work is supposed to feel like for the people I serve.

My focus is on financial planning, cash flow strategy, debt management, and tax-efficient investing. As a fiduciary, my advice is never driven by a commission or a product to sell. The highest standard is the only standard, and my clients' interests come first, full stop. Retirement income planning is a particular specialty, and I work closely with clients' tax professionals and attorneys to make sure everyone is aligned and moving toward the same goal.

What I'm genuinely good at is making sense of a mess. Financial lives are complicated, and most people carry more anxiety about them than they need to. My favorite moment is when someone walks out of the office, and the weight has lifted, not because everything is fine, but because we looked at the numbers together and built something real.

A proud honors graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Gamma Mu and received the Rosamond Mancall Prize. My Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses came in 2013, and from 2019 through 2025, I've been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager every consecutive year.*

My father had a sign in his office: "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." That's still rule number one around here. I didn't choose this business to conform to what someone else thinks a financial advisor should look like.

My husband, Gary, and I live in Glastonbury in a restored Queen Anne Victorian on Main Street, surrounded by the kind of New England character we both grew up with. Between us, we have 12 grandchildren, which means we understand very well the pull between building a career and showing up for the people who matter most. When I'm not working, you'll find me walking, catching a show, or somewhere in the Caribbean with my toes in the sand. I'm also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce, because staying connected to the business community has always mattered to me, professionally and personally.

Six years in financial services, and what keeps me coming back every day is the work itself: the clients, the team, and staying sharp on what's happening in the markets. There's always something to learn, and that suits me well.

A Connecticut native, originally from Trumbull and long settled in the Greater Hartford area, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Marketing from York College of Pennsylvania. These days, home is the Eastern Connecticut shoreline, which honestly feels like something of a reward. Being that close to the water makes every season feel like a good one.

I keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, from maintaining client files to supporting the team to making sure every interaction with our office is a good one. The clients who come through our door deserve to feel well taken care of, and being part of making that happen is something I genuinely enjoy.

My career started the way a lot of good ones do: by figuring things out on my own. Starting as an entrepreneur gave me a ground-level understanding of what small business owners actually face, and that perspective has shaped everything I've done since. From there, consulting for a boutique venture capital firm deepened my thinking around strategic growth and what it takes to move a business forward at different stages. Before joining LPL, I led a team of eight while overseeing the full administrative and financial operations of an agricultural services company, which is exactly the kind of work that sharpens you quickly.

Now, as part of LPL's CFO Solutions team, I work with financial advisors to provide the kind of financial analysis and strategic planning that leads to real, measurable outcomes for their practices. Over 100 client relationships into this role, the work is still as engaging as when I started.

Originally from El Salvador, I moved to the United States in 2019 and now call Honolulu home, which I share with my husband, Omar. Life outside of work looks like the beach, a good book, staying active, and traveling whenever the opportunity presents itself.

The behind-the-scenes work matters more than most people realize, and doing it well means the advisors can stay focused on the clients and the clients feel taken care of every time they reach out. That's what motivates me, knowing that my work has a direct effect on the experience people have here.

Before joining Allegra Wealth Management, I spent years at Maffe Financial Group building the kind of organizational instincts that only come with time and experience. Managing client accounts, coordinating operations, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks is work I genuinely enjoy. There's real satisfaction in a day that runs smoothly.

Growing up in Marlborough, Connecticut, the kind of small town where everyone knew everyone, gave me an appreciation for community and the value of showing up consistently for the people around you. These days, I live in Glastonbury and spend my time outside of work with my three children, Alexandra, Emma, and Jack. When I'm not with them, you'll likely find me with a good book or in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe. Food is one of my great loves, both cooking it and finding new restaurants worth talking about.

My interest in finances started earlier than most. As a teenager, working my first job, I had a strong interest in tracking all my expenses. It wasn't an assignment or a requirement. It just made sense to me, and that instinct has never gone away.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, I hold my Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses with LPL Financial and am currently working toward my CFP designation.  What keeps me engaged every single day is the variety of people I get to work with and the conversations that come with it. Every client has their own story, goals, and relationship with money. Figuring out how to meet each person where they are is something I find genuinely interesting and fulfilling.

My wife Leslie and I are both from Southington, Connecticut. We made the easy decision to stay close to home and family when our boys came along. Cole, Cade, and Callan keep life full and busy in the best way. Any downtime tends to involve the three of them, good company, and, whenever we can manage it, a trip to our happy place: Cape Cod.
